A native of Canada, Rita now divides her time between Toronto, Ontario, and Sun City, Arizona, enjoying both countries’ cultures and stimulations. This allows time with her three children and eight grandchildren in Canada, and her writing groups in Arizona.
A graduate from The Institute of Children’s Literature, Rita continues to hone her writing skills with membership to several writer’s groups: Northwest Valley Writer’s Critique Group, West Valley Writer’s Critique Group, Historical Novel Society, Sisters in Crime (SINC) - Desert Sleuths, and Avondale Inkslingers. She is published in three of their anthologies. Rita travelled through cities within four continents, learning life lessons from extraordinary experiences. Besides writing, she enjoys theatre, movies, swimming, and reading, although travel tops her list. Her young adult trilogy, David’s Ghost, Twin Disasters, and Devil Be Gone, along with her middle school book, No Time For Crime, and historical fiction, Let The Hatchet Fall, can be found on Amazon. Rita’s website contains a link that leads the reader directly to Amazon and her books. |
